Our Story
Award-winning photographer, Mark Barnett is based in Charlotte, North Carolina where he is constantly inspired by the people he photographs. Mark grew up in a military family giving him the opportunity to live in numerous exotic locations and acquiring the skill of never meeting a stranger. A master at putting his subjects at ease, Mark takes his time getting to know his clients, quickly establishing genuine friendships. Mark becomes a familiar and friendly face who just happens to have a camera. Knowing what makes his friends smile and what gives them joy, he beautifully transfers these emotions into a portrait that will be treasured for a lifetime. Photo sessions are refreshingly fun, unique, and tailored to each individual.
Respected by his peers, Mark is a leader and teacher in the world of photography, digital retouching, along with his creative way of capturing the essence of his subjects. Mark’s genuine love of life and of his work is evident in the beautiful images he captures and artistically enhances.
